1) COMPLETED - April 17-19, 2009 - The Race to Knoxville, Corryton, Tennessee. The event will go live at about 11pm on Friday. The Confederate side will consist of the 4th Alabama Volunteer Infantry Regiment. The federal side will portray the 2nd Michigan. The tactical scenario for April 2009 will be unscripted. 2) COMPLETED - May 15-17, 2009 - Battle of Resaca, Resaca, Georgia, The Battle of Resaca is hosted by the Georgia Division and is a mainstream reenactment. Hunter Poythress will be the overall Confederate Commander for the 145th Anniversary Event in 2009. They hope to raise at least a four company battalion with each company having 25 to 30 men. 3) COMPLETED - July 24-26, 2009 - Assault on Allegheny, Bartow, West Virginia. Event Organizers: Pridgeon's Shenandoah Legion. Featuring: Marching on a nearly pristine stretch of the historic Staunton-Parkersburg Pike; Lack of modern intrusions; A “moving” event, with different camp locations; Friday and Saturday nights, Activities and camps on original ground, including Camp Allegheny, the site of some of the best-preserved fortifications of the Civil War. 4) October 3-4, 2009 - (Potential Event)The Lost Tribes: "Chasing Price Through Missouri", Boonesfield Village, Missouri, The 21st Missouri (Federal) had just reached the town of Gray Summit. Because of road conditions, they had to rest for three days. While in town for those three days, the men of Company "I" will interact with citizens of Gray Summit. 5) November 13-15, 2009 - Bummers - "All Hell Has Broken Loose in Georgia" - Molena, Georgia. One hundred and forty-five years From the Beginning of the "March to the Sea" - Sponsor/Host: Armory Guards and Mess No. 1. A scripted scenario which will recreate actual historic encounters from the March to the Sea - November, 1864.
